Intelligent daylight control with proven results

COWI’s headquarters in Lyngby demands high standards of functionality, comfort and energy-efficient operation. Kelvin has delivered a comprehensive modernisation and optimisation of the building automation, with a particular focus on intelligent daylight control.

The solution was developed and implemented in close collaboration with COWI’s own technical staff and includes the replacement, programming and integration of new control components. The result is a unified platform that ensures precise lighting control and efficient energy use throughout the office environment.

Daylight is now actively utilised by automatically adjusting artificial lighting and colour temperature to the natural light available throughout the day. Individual employees can also adjust the settings to support both comfort and productivity.

The system is based on LOYTEC technology and DALI controllers, ensuring reliable operation, flexible control and optimum use of the building’s technical installations.
